Cerro del Lobo takes its name from the northernmost plot of our vineyard, situated on a steep slope delimited by two streams, representing the ultimate expression of the Syrah variety at Finca Río Negro.

The overwhelming personality of this wine explains the perfect adaptation of the Syrah variety to the landscape of Finca Río Negro and the ‘Cerro del Lobo’ plot in particular, since it was planted over 20 years ago.

Tasting note

Cherry red color with violet hues, displaying high color intensity.

Olfactory phase Intense, deep, and complex aroma, with notes of violets and black fruit, blackberries, currants, balsamic, black olives, spices, vanilla, tobacco, and toasted notes.

Taste phase Medium to full body, fresh, flavorful, persistent, and creamy.
